In Ethiopia the crucial issues among the youth are unemployment and lack of recreational centers. Related to the media most of the programs are not attractive and effective to appeal for their interest.
Whatever be the upbringing, an average youth today is rock steady about 3 things in life: (1) quality education, (2) good career and (3) happy marriage. With increasing awareness towards education, imminent exposure to global phenomena, hyperactive political situations etc, today's youths not only find themselves fighting every morning with their mother for proper breakfast but also find themselves fighting everyday with the whole world for better life. Indeed, today's youths are better than their predecessors but having that said, our government has yet to commend on what we've got, what we can do and what we mean to a country. Youths hold the key to future of any country so a country ought to take good care of its youths for the well-being of its own. Unfortunately, due to the prevalent circumstances of this country, the nation have been able to do nothing but push its youths beyond its frontiers. This continuous leaching away of invaluable youth power is very ominous for any country and if this goes on then I am afraid our country will not see its great future.
For school droppers, chances of finding a decent working opportunities are very slim. Work placement and apprenticeship for them (something similar to the one for degree students) would be a fantastic idea. It would help them to gain skills required to work. They could be independent and contribute towards economy.
There are lots of problem youths are facing nowadays. The main problem is that the scarcity of employment. Many youths are being unemployed day by day. They couldn't get the job of their desire, although they have got skills n enthusiasm. After passing SLC they take different kinds of training in the hope of getting job in their future but the government couldn't provide them the sufficient jobs. Which has added many more problems to them. When they didn't get job they got more pressure, like economical problem, mental problem etc that directly hamper their mental situation.
Next problem is that youths are trapped into drug addiction. N the main reason for this is the unemployment. Due to lack of employment they become despair, which will led them to drug addiction. Likewise, to become modern n to show other the youths are taking drugs which after some time become their habit.
Similarly, due to the generation gap also youths are facing lots of problems. The parents don't understand the child and always scold them for what they have done and always forced them to study hard and act what they told their child to do. This also leads youth to drug addiction and depression.
And due to unemployment also youths are taking part in criminal activities. As they could get lots of money they are taking part in criminal activities.
Addition to this, youths are facing problems in their career making. They didn't get right platform to enhance their career. Their are not sufficient organization who can guide youths and show right way for their career. And also family didn't allow them to choose their desired field and forced them to study only. They couldn't get better position sticking to their own desire so at last they should do what their parents want to do, or what their society want from them.
These are some problems youths are facing.

Young people don’t want anything but freedom. Freedom, not only in lifestyle, but also in ideas. Youths are bound with traditional etiquettes with limited opportunities but higher expectations.
Parents search the discipline in their children that they have obtained after ages of experience. They simply reject to the power of learning in obscurity. They make us think about our careers in their way, not ours. In this age, when we are supposed to explore new horizons and new vistas for life, we are propelled in a direction with faint enthusiasm aroused by banal things.
There comes a time with each dawn when we are packed with vigor and enthusiasm to do something. No doubt, one reason is the craving for appreciation, but the consideration is far more than that. I reckon in this chrysalis, the energy we posses can be applied in any field of interest. Unfortunately, we cannot be specific. And how could we be without taking action? We don’t have any platform to mould ourselves. Slowly the Youth energy is fading.
I agree with most of the points shared by my friends but I feel that in Nepal political pressure's and political turmoil posses as a threat to development of young people simply because if we do not have a sound political situation we can not have opportunity, we cannot have good education and we simply cannot have a platform to hone our skills. Political turmoil is also a situation why we have brain drain which result's to young energy going out of our country. Uncertain politics also result to Frustration in youths.
I feel that every Nepali youth is fed up of Nepal's situation but we need to stay positive and believe that we are not like those people who only think about themselves ! Let;s join hands and get united save the country
no offense, but i dont think only thought is enough. We need leaders who we can believe in. You, me ... we should lead. No use just complaining or saying i'll be positive. Trust me .. i've been doing that for the past 14 years.
in GERMANY the youthe problem i have seen are:
drug and alcohol addiction from very young age
lack of love from the parents (as parents get divorce)
bullying (which leads lots of youths to depression)
sexual harassment from teachers and trainers
young mothers
poverty
drugs abuse of younger people or teenager in ous soceity. various factors influence this kind of drugs abuse such as 1. peers pressure 2.stressful life style 3.0unemployment or job unsatisfaction. 4.false perception of personality development. those thing very dangerous for their family ,our country as wall as world .
